As I am moving to the Sublime Text editor, here are some Eclipse shortcuts before I forget them through lack of use.
It's amazing how few they are, which is why Eclipse is not that much use to a non Java developer.
- CTRL-SHIFT R
- brings up a window where you can type filenames (with wildcards) and find open then from there
- CMD K
- Find next
- goes to location of last edit, even if in another file.
- Go to line
- CTRL-SHIFT T
- In non-Java files, if a word is selected, it lets you see other occurrences of the selected word in the current file.
- CMD E
- opens the list of open files in a floating panel, where you can use arrow keys or type letters to locate, and switch to, any files in the list.
- CMD-SHIFT F
- Format (use carefully)
- CMD D
- Delete line
