Technical writing was one of the main activities in my roles at CMW London and DraftFCB (together with team leading). Prior to that I have written technical documentation on projects on which I was lead developer.
Type of writing
- proposal documentation for pitches; successful examples are PayPal Winners Vault, and Motorola Interim DB
- technical specifications in response to a functional specification or requirements document, as in Trident Mess With Your Head, Here Today, Goo Tomorrow, Trinny & Susannah’s Shape Advisor, Moto Z8, Motorola KRZR campaign
- description of policies, procedures, and training material, for example for PEBL Colours, and Motorola RIZR Z3 campaign
- technical documentation detailing use and maintenance of applications, such as AMV, CIBT application, mrStream satellite, Virgin Cola, and IMO Website
