PayPal Winners Vault

The Brief

A Flash/DHTML registration microsite to allow PayPal Credit Card users to enter a competition. The idea was to create a funky secret website to encourage word of mouth marketing.

The Subtext

We built this for the UK market, then localized it for Australia. More markets were to follow, but then our merger occurred and everything was put on hold.

The Solution

A dual Flash / accessible password protected microsite. It was designed to look like your average PayPal webpage, but on entering an access code a secret 3D vault would be revealed behind the page.

The Team

4: a project manager, a 3D designer, art director, myself.

My Involvment

I wrote technical specifications as well as coding this.

The Outcome

The client was extremely happy with it.
