The Brief

Armed with a fat EU grant to be spent on finding alternative applications of satellite technology, mrStream cooked up a strange scheme involving the distribution of vox pop video footage to market research companies. IndustryUK was hired to provide the content management layer which would sit on top of the transport layer.

The Subtext

Another one of those projects that could only have happened during the dotComCrash™ years.

The Solution

IndustryUK retrofitted their PHP-based inhouse CMS and adapted it to mrStream's environment.

The Team

2: The technical project lead and myself.

My Involvment

I was called in to provide a few modules for packaging content to be transported and managing their delivery via the satellite system.

The Outcome

The project was completed, tested, and seemed to work well, at which point mrStream run away with the money and were only heard of again in court.
