With the fashion for ‘user generated content’ and cheaper broadband, image and video galleries are becoming more popular. A few of the projects I worked on had a gallery element to them.
The Moto Z8 project was a full-on YouTube video gallery clone, but built in Flash.
Trinny & Susannah’s Shape Advisor can be considered a glorified image navigation system. It allows users to close in on a set of garments depending on their body shape.
Both the LCR and London Shard sites have a simple image gallery within the news section, content managed by the client.
Hair Histories was basically a gallery of images uploaded by users - limited to one image per user, and with a competition element.
The Foyer website had an user generated gallery section.
