Aphrodite’s Birthplace

5th January 2008 15:56 | Categories: Cyprus in Winter

As we were looking for a toilet off the motorway on the way to Lefkosia (Nicosia), we passed by Aphrodite’s birthplace. It’s a lovely spot for a break, a little walk on a pebbly beach, and there’s a hut where you can buy yourself a cup of tea.

I suppose you can have a swim in the summer, but in winter there’s nothing more to it than that, really.
